[HVM][SVM][PATCH][2/2] Delay ExtInt Injection
Patch 2/2 -
Add flag to indicate that an exception event needs injecting, and to
delay
the ext interrupt injection.
Remove unnecessary check of RFLAGS.IF for ExtInt injection.
Applies cleanly to xen-unstable c/s 11831.
Please apply to xen-unstable.hg.
We would also want this patch to be in a 3.0.3-1 base whenever that is
branched.

[RFC/PATCH 03/15] preparation: address of the 64bit extint parm in lowcore

The address 0x11b8 is used by z/VM for pfault and diag 250 I/O to
provide a 64 bit extint parameter. virtio uses the same address, so
its time to update the lowcore structure.

I have some diagnostic Info for you. Tried to get xen-4.0.1 working on
another node of my cluster. Only difference: Newer revision of the
Hardware. Exactly same Software Stack.
Stack: Ubuntu Lucid 64bit, xen-4.0.1 from Source, selfbuilt
linux-2.6.32.27 from xen/stable-2.6.32.x
Nodes working: HP DL380G5 16GB (Intel X5460)
Node not working: HP DL380G6 16GB (Intel X5550)

[PATCH][discuss] evtchn race condition
Keir,
below/attached patch is necessary to allow SVM partitions to boot
unmodified guests with xen-unstable.hg c/s 8961. c/s 8822 and 8828
(some necessary evtchn modifications) cause SVM partitions to fail with
"lost interrupt" hda error during boot.
We currently do not understand why these modifications are necessary and
in fact, a race occurs with one part of the patch (added

use or non-use of multiple processors in forwarding
I''m testing to see how fast A can ping C without losing packets.
A -- B -- C
B is a dual processor (Intel(R) XEON(TM) CPU 1.80GHz) machine.
/proc/stat shows me that all of the work is done by one cpu, the other
does nothing.

[RFC/PATCH 15/15] guest: virtio device support, and kvm hypercalls

more complicated that providing an own stub. This virtio stub is similar to
the lguest one, the memory for the descriptors and the device detection is made
via additional mapped memory on top of the guest storage. We use an external
interrupt with extint code 1237 for host->guest notification.
The hypercall definition uses the diag instruction for issuing a hypercall. The
parameters are written in R2-R7, the hypercall number is written in R1. This is
