Is my card dead?

dahdi_scan doesn't recognize an OpenVox A400E
Hi everybody,
In an Asterisk 1.6.0.5, dahdi-linux-2.1.0.4, dahdi-tools-2.1.0.2, with a
Digium B410P and an OpenVox A400E, I can't make "dahdi_scan" to recognize
the OpenVox. This card was working correctly but suddenly stopped working
and I cannot make it work again. Both ?lspci? and ?dahdi_hardware? detect it
but ?dahdi_scan? not and I cannot use it.

dahdi_scan and OctoBRI. Bug or feature ?
Hi,
When typing dahdi_scan on an OctoBRI-enabled setup, I've got only 8 replies
such as :
[1]
active=yes
alarms=RED
...
[8]
active=yes
...
framing=CCS
I would expect 16 replies (one per B-channel).
Is this correct ?

B400P and A1200P changes card order
Hi,
I've run into a veird problem. I'm using a B400P BRI and an A1200P card
with dahdi (2.2.1) driver. The dahdi_scan shows the each moduls and
spans, everything seems fine. With dahdi_genconf I made the config, set
up the channels in chan_dahdi.conf, but after reboot, the two card
changes the order, (originaly the B400P is the first (closer to the
processor) and A1200P is the second), when I check with dahdi_...

dahdi_tool shows no alarms, but no line connected
Hi,
I'm using Sangoma's wanpipe together with dahdi, all
software downloaded today at most recent version.
Hardware is Sangoma A104, a 4xE1 card.
Installation went well.
Anyway, wanrouter status shows a different result than
dahdi_tool or dahdi_scan.
I've just put a hardware loop on port 1. All the other
ports are open.
wanrouter status shows the expected result:

Use modprobe to find E1/T1 jumper setting on PRI card
Does anyone know if I could use modprobe command to find out rather than
set the jumper on a Digium PRI card?
I want to find out the jumper settings on the card without opening the
box which will cause down time.
Thanks.

[UK SPECIFIC] DAHDI and a OpenVox Card
Hi,
Built a new server at the weekend and install Asterisk 1.6.0.9 and IAX and SIP work great :) The one problem I am having is getting the OpenVox (TDM400 type card) to work. It is successfully identified using WCTDM kernel module and dahdi_scan picks it up just fine. The issue is when I try and setup dahdi_channel.conf as it fails everytime. When running asterisk -rvvvv I see the port pick up the ring but the it shows a RED Alarm failure. Does anybody have a working configuration they would be happy to share with me please ?

S110M not working
...system a TDM400 with one s110 fxs and three
x100 fxos. I put it into a new box and the fxs no longer works. The
fxos work just fine. I thought it was odd, but I chalked it up to a
random chance failure and ordered another s110. The replacement
doesn't work either, and now I'm confused.
dahdi_scan recognizes the s110, but it says it fails. Output looks like this:

HA8 + B400M not configured with genconf_parameters
Hi,
On a Lenny system, with dahdi 2.4.0, libpri 1.4.11.5 and asterisk 1.6.1.18,

...rnel vulnerabilities are forcing me to
upgrade my home server from no-longer-supported Fedora 8 up to Fedora
11, and that means upgrading asterisk as well.
It appears that, although the dahdi-tools package is part of Fedora 11,
the kernel modules are not. I couldn't get the dahdi tools such as
dahdi_scan to work at all until I installed the dahdi-kmdl package from
ATrpms. Does that match others' experiences?
This also means a translation from extensions.conf to AEL. I tried using
the tool whose name I forget that produces an ael file from an old
extensions.conf file, but I get tons of errors w...
