Hi All; Why busydetect=yes caused this autmatic hangup happens without any reson (while responding to entering the digits in the IVR) I do not know! And what is the solution I do not know. I used busydetect=yes and busycount=5 in zapata.conf to help me in hangup when detect the busy tone, but I faced the following problem: While I am calling to the Asterisk PBX, and during the response for the

TDM11B Hang up detection not working in France ?
Hello, my config : aah 2.6 (asterisk 1.2.4) , centos 4.2, 1 TDM11B (1 Fxo / 1 fxs ), 1 phone, 1 softphone I'm in France When someone from PSTN calls and hangs up before the call is answered, internal extension keeps ringing until timeout occurs. PSTN line keeps busy. Hangup detection doesn't work. I've played with different paremeters (callprogress, busydetect, busycount,

Why do Zaptel calls drop all of a sudden? Could busy detect be the problem?
Hi Guys, I am getting a complain that call on analogue lines (Sangoam A400D) drops all of a sudden. X100P - Busydetect / calls being disconnected - Australia; tip.
Hi All, This isn't really a question, but it's an issue I experienced that was driving me crazy for a few days, so I thought it might be good for the archives. Basically what was happening was everytime a particular customer called (long distance), the line would disconnect immediately after answering. I thought it might have been the phone, so I swapped the phone with another - still

Zap channels in AU hanging up on STD pips
Is anyone having/had a problem with a TDM400P card hanging up on STD outbound calls as soon as the called party answers. I'm guessing that * is responding to the STD pips in some way. -- Howard. UK Disconnect supervision with TDM400P
...well, except if I get an incoming call through my bt line, and the remote party hangs up, I get approx 20secs of the bt line hungup tone before asterisk hangs up, which leads (if nothing else) to the well documented 20secs of beep on vm problem :) I have tried: busydetect=yes / busycount=7 / other busycounts / callprogess=yes but none of these make any difference. I have loadzone/defaultzone=uk and country=uk in indications.conf and fxs_ks signalling. I've seen mention of the different BUSYDETECT flags in the * Makefile, but I can't seem to find exactly what they do, or whether they're li...

TE411P problem-- probably stupid.
Hi, Probably a stupid syntax problem.. but can't seem to make these files work for more than the first T1 (ok, if I comment out the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th span). Can someone proofread this for me? busydetect and random hangups
Hi, I'm having random hangup problems with zap channels. If I turn busydetect off in Zapata.conf, * fails completely to detect a user hangup in the middle of a script. On the other hand, if I turn it on, everything works much better, but long calls tend to be hung up without a motive. Any other parameter that I can try? Any #define that I can tweak and recompile? Dial-In/Out Modem Zap Channel Config. Adtran 750
I've been trying to get a Win 2000 RAS server working with my asterisk PBX for quite some time, to no avail. I've googled, I've tried loads of configurations, I've rewired phone lines, and still I am not winning the battle. Here's my config. PRI->T400P->Asterisk->T400P->Adtran 750(L36 Firmware)->RAS Server. I have 4 Zap channels signalled FXO_KS to the 750

Zaptel and Zapata Conf's
I'm a bit confused on how to setup Zaptel.conf and Zapata.conf when there is a TDM400P and a TE410P installed after upgrade. The TDM400P has 2 FXS in position 1 & 2 and 1 FXO in the fourth position. I see boot, WCT4xxP loading first and WCFXS loading second. According to my understanding, given above, the TE410P should be configured first, then the TDM400P. However, I'm not sure

Manager interface, again
Ok, is it me or do some of the commands just not work properly? I asked for mailboxstatus and got: Response: Success Message: Mailbox Status Mailbox: 1000 Waiting: 0 which is all well and good, except of course I have 2 messages waiting... which kinda means it only works, if you have 0 messages... Hang up not hanging up (New Zealand Indications??)
Hi there, I have a new asterisk working in New Zeland and everything is working well except when an incoming call to the PSTN hangs up, asterisk wont hang up the zap trunk (X100P). I have found this information: http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0001474 Which discusses my problem and i have made sure that i have the latest info in the indications.conf as follows: [general]

Patch to avoid sporadic hangup during normal conversation
Hi, Mark. I'm posting a little patch that permits to set the busycount value in dsp (via chan_zap), for systems that have "busydetect=yes" in zapata.conf and have noticed sporadic hangup, caused by incorrect cadence detection during normal conversation. With this patch, it's possible to increase the busycount from 3 (default) to 5 (max, because DSP_HISTORY=5), simply adding a

TDM400P and AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR dropping calls
Hi, I had been using 4 X100P cards in my Asterisk box, but 2 of them were sharing an interrupt. Therefore, periodically I would hear beeps and clicks that I had assumed were a result of this. So, I ordered a TDM400P with 4 FXO modules and installed it in the box last night. Today, we've had nothing but problems with it dropping calls. I installed the latest CVS of everything, and we've

busydetect and X100P hangups
FYI to anyone else who may be experiencing random hangups; I removed the busydetect=yes lines from the conf files on my asterisk servers, and haven't had a hangup since. I had done that once before and it didn't seem to have much of an effect, so I'm not breaking out the champagne yet. But so far over dozens of calls both made and received since I took that line out, I

Trixbox problems
Hello, I'm writing because we have problems with an asterisk installation (Trixbox ver. 1.2.3). We have a customer which is receiving a lot o telephony traffic (more or less 1 call/2 min.); we are using a TDM400 board, with 3 PSTN lines configured and we have two big issues: - Calls are dropped during conversation (I have a busycount=8 from the initial value that was 4) -

Callerid Error- Causing All Zap Channels Busy
Asterisk Users, I am running Asterisk-1.4.11 on a Debian "Etch" system. On an occasion, when customer calls into my Asterisk Box, I get this error messagefrom Asterisk "CallerID returned with error on channel Zap/3-1" , causing all my zap channels to be busy. So, I cannot make any calls in, nor out. I am located in the United States. Is there any other suggestions,
