Hai,
I've prepared a fist set of 4.11RC2 packages.
PLEASE DONT USE THESE IN PRODUCTION and USE AT OWN RISK..
I've tested the basic things and this looks good.
----------- THE REPO SETUP ---------------
1) Choose http or https for you apt, both work, for https you need to :
apt-get install apt-transport-https
2) Import my public key
wget -O - http://apt.van-belle.nl/louis-van-belle.gpg-key.asc | apt-key add -
3) (optional) setup a header line for the repo file.
echo "# AptVanBelle repo for samba." | sudo tee
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list
4) In the line below, change the OS and/or samba version to what you want.
echo "deb http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian buster-experimental main contrib
non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list
As you see, the repo is : buster-experimental
You can use it, but keep in mind this these "experimental" repo should
NEVER be used in/with production servers.
And if you use the "experimental" then after you installed samba,
DISABLE THE REPO LINE.
The content can change fast here and these are under development.
Just my saying, but at least, you now can try 4.11RC2 with packages.
For the people who want to build these themselfs.
The minimal package versions for building 4.11Rc2.
Talloc 2.2.0 in repo 2.2.0 ( Debian 2.1.16/experimental )
Tdb 1.4.2 in repo 1.4.2 ( Debian 1.3.18/experimental )
Tevent 0.10.0 in repo 0.10.0 ( Debian 0.9.39/experimental )
Ldb = 2.0.5 in repo 2.0.5 ( Debian 1.5.1+really1.4.7-1/Buster and up.
)
Cmocka 1.1.3 in repo 1.1.5 ( Debian 1.1.5-2/bullseye and up )
Socket_wrapper 1.2.3 in repo 1.2.3 ( Debian 1.2.3-1/Bullseye and up )
Nss_wrapper 1.1.6 in repo 1.1.6 ( Debian 1.1.3-1/Buster and up. )
Resolv_wrapper 1.1.4 in repo 1.1.5 ( Debian 1.1.5-1/Stretch and up. )

Pam_wrapper 1.0.7 in repo 1.0.7 ( Debian Buster repo 1.0.7 )
Zlib 1.2.3 in Debian Buster repo
Ive added above in the "buster-samba411" the latest packages to build
samba.
So its now also easy to build your own samba packages off my repo.
If i get enough good responces on the 4.11rc2, i'll move them to the
buster-411 repo.
