Hi there, I am a newbie to samba. I am developing a cifs proxy (promiscuous mode) which is supposed to perform a proxy authentication (NTLMSSP/NETLOGON) to authenticate the client's against a Win2003 domain. I understand that net ads/winbindd will be my best choice for joining domain/backend communication with domain for authentication (NETLOGON). I was wondering if i can use ntlm_auth tool as a front end to perform a proxy NTLMSSP with the client. Any help would be appreciated ? Thanks, Mohan
