I am having a hard time getting a Windows XP virtual machine to follow a symlink share to a localhost samba share with 'follow symlinks = yes' I have been googling this for a couple of hours now and have found some references but not definite fix. It must be a permissions problem. Does the windows XP user have permissions on the /tmp folder on the gentoo box? John John
