Hi all, I'm using Samba 3 in an environment with very limited disk resources, and thus I'm unable to spool large print jobs. It would be very handy if I could send the print job directly to the USB printer, and not via a spool file. Looking through the man pages, I can't find any option for doing this. Ideally, I would want something like "print job on pipe = yes" and the print job would be sent directly to the stdin of the "print command". It gets even worse since I'm not using a postscript printer, but rather have client-side printer drivers on my Windows PC, and thus I get to spool the proprietary printer protocol data (which, in my case, is huge even when printing relatively small files). Any ideas of how to solve my problem? Thanks, Mattias

Can you file a bug report at https://bugzilla.samba.org/ with prio "enhancement" so that it does not get lost?
