Well, /etc/hosts is still the same as before updating to 3.0.21c with
127.0.0.1 in it. After some try and error I added the line
socket address = 127.0.0.1, 192.168.x.x
to my smb.conf. Now I have NMBD bound to 0.0.0.0 and SWAT shows the correct
status. The only thing I'd like to know now is if this is a security issue.
I have my linux server behind a router firewall so I think this should keep
NMBD invisible to the internet. But I'm not quite sure about that.
