[Samba] how to edit .pol files (on a Samba server)?
I have a Registry.pol file, which I would like to edit/parse/change on a Samba server. Is there a tool for editing such files? -- Tomek http://wpkg.org WPKG - software deployment and upgrades with Samba

If someone wanted to write an *adm -> *pol file tool, we already have the regf I/O code in Samba. It is possible to write an NT system policy editor that runs on Linux. No one has taken up the initative yet though. cheers,. jerry ====================================================================Alleviating the pain of Windows(tm) ------- http://www.samba.org GnuPG Key ----- http://www.plainjoe.org/gpg_public.asc "There's an anonymous coward in all of us." --anonymous -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFDfd1LIR7qMdg1EfYRAvZiAKCp5tTt01vpUkZsNIC9GzKclWfS+wCgiS3Z j9vzJAtD8wbiqS4WUkO+xY0=/ETl -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
