I had to reinstall my system, and for some reason samba doesn't work. It's a mandriva 2005 system, 2.6.11-6mdk. I'm using a very very minimal smb.conf: load printers = no [global] workgroup = WKG netbios name = MYNAME [share1] path = /tmp [share2] path = /my_shared_folder comment = Some random files Here's most of the -d 10 log: get_current_groups: user is in 1 groups: 0 smbd version 3.0.13 started.
