Hi all, I've noticed that since I started storing drivers in [print$] the printer name (as visible to Windows) changes to the driver name. I really want to suppress this behavior as I named the printers for clarity about where/what they are. Is there any way to suppress it? Using CUPS to share out the printers. Thanks, Misty

I added a new service parameter last week (force printername) for people that don't want the printername to be different from the sharename. ('cause I'm really tired of answering this question). The new param will be available starting with Samba 3.0.8pre2 cheers, jerry -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD4DBQFBfaUZIR7qMdg1EfYRArtiAKCep4Vm+xRFjc1x9RnWmeNjmtDtJQCWJChg s0Q20nz76HTBuLEfEN3JJg==+8rX -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
