When trying to connect to a new machine on our
internal network I first got:
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_PASSWORD_MUST_CHANGE
I searched the list archives and found the following
solution, which gave me a new error:
smbpasswd -U bruwaek -r //rto.be
Old SMB password:
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
unable to find an IP address for machine //rto.be.
Failed to modify password entry for user bruwaek
The machine apparently has multiple IPs:
ping rto.be
