samba - Apr 2003 - Samba 3.0alpha23 and swat

I just compiled and installed samba 3.0alpha23 with swat support.
Anyways when I access http://localhost:901 <http://localhost:901/>  I
get asked for my username and password which I use root and it's
password on but it keeps saying that it's the wrong password.  I've been
using swat since I first installed samba 2.2.3a and it's always worked
right out of the box (with only minor tweaks of course).  I searched the
archive but only found people asking the same question.  Any input would
be greatly appreciated.

I do not remember clearly when we fixed this. Current CVS tree is working
fine. It was broken for a week or so. Suggest you download current CVS or
wait for the alpha24.
