[Samba] Office documents saved in read-only mode in samba 2.2.7a
I have recently upgraded from samba 2.2.6 to 2.2.7a on a Linux RedHat 8.0 server. Now I have got a problem with Win2K/XP clients. When a client saves an excel or word document on a Samba share, it is automaticaly saved in read only mode(444), and the owner becomes "root" Notes: This doesn't happen if I use the notepad. The /tmp share works. Files are not saved in read only mode. Any idea ? Thanks, M.
