I am trying to send a 12gb file from Windows 2000 Professional pc to a red
hat linux 7.1 server running samba version 2.0.7. The file is ending after
the first 4GB are sent. I looked in the /var/log/samba log and found the
following message:
[2002/09/12 06:37:02, 0] smbd/reply.c:reply_write_and_X(2578)
reply_write_and_X - large offset (1 << 32) used and we don't support
64
bit offsets.
[2002/09/12 06:38:43, 1] smbd/service.c:close_cnum(581)
Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this and possibly explain
to me what I need to do to resolve this problem.
