After upgrading Samba on one of our Alphas from 2.2.1a to 2.2.5, Samba refuses to accept connections. If smbclient is used, the following message is given after accepting the password: session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE If the previous version is restored, things go back to normal. The machine is a DEC 3000/800 running OSF/1 (ie Tru64 UNIX, until HP decides to change the name) 4.0g. We do have a domain; the PDC is a DEC AlphaServer 400 running Windows NT Server 4.0. In my most recent attempt to compile Samba 2.2.5, the only switch I used on configure was --with-acl-support. Any ideas on where to look? ------------------------------------------------------- John L.
