samba - Jul 2002 - Printing to a file on a samba share

I cannot print to a file on a samba share,
because i get an error saying that the file is not present on the share.
I'm sure the file is created with 0 length, and its name is mangled.
It shoeld be FILE: and its mangled to file~???
Any suggestion?

try a name without a trailing colon ":".
