Is it possible to create an executable in unix, place it on a samba share, and run it from NT. i ran a little test putting "ls" in my samba share and tried double clicking it to see if it would run. my main goal is to create a batch file from NT that calls a script located on a unix box shared by samba thanks SBLI
That won't work. You could, however, write a .bat file to run commands from your NT machine with rsh or rexec (or ssh, if you install it).
