samba - Jun 2002 - help with suse

hello 

	Im tring to install samba 2.2.5 on my suse 8.0 server im running
into problems with the install directory i want it in etc/samba but the
default is /usr/local/samba i know the bianares are there for the suse 8.0
but im new to linux and dont know how to tell the ./configure to use them if
you could help me it would realy speed things along

you can see how it's done for SuSE 8.0 by looking at the file 
packaging/SuSE/8.0/samba.spec in the Samba tarball.
You will find the correct parameters for configure and make there.
