Hi, I would really appriciate some sort of input on where to go, I had 2.2.4 working for several weeks in a native 2000 domain working fine. I received a call that users could no longer write to the folder, and it seems to be a winbindd related problem. We have recently updated the latest 2000 fixes to the machines which I can only assume has broken something. We are not currently using the restrictanonymous reg keys if this makes a difference. I have updated to 2.2.5, but it is still not working. I have tried re-adding the machine to the domain also Debug from winbindd below, if I run wbinfo -u the error is "error getting list of domain users" The relative parts from the smb.conf relating to winbindd below winbind separator = + winbind uid = 10000-20000 winbind gid = 10000-20000 winbind enum users = yes winbind enum groups = yes [root@metanet samba]# winbindd -d3 -i winbindd version 2.2.5 started.
