samba - Jun 2002 - XP and PDC patch alternative

Hey gang, I just joined the list but I've read back a few months and so far
noone has mentioned this so I thought I'd drop a line on it.  I haven't
tried this yet, I have to get back to work to do so but. I think there is an
easier way to disable signorseal then to apply the path. Microsnot addresses
the issue in the following KB article.

like it would be quicker considering you don't have to apply the patch to
each control set. Although this applies to a NT4.0 domain the resolution
should be the same.

The only time I tested this, applying the supplied reg patch did the 
trick. If you have multiple machines, just set it up somewhere on a 
webserver with a link to it, and browse there with IE, and choose to run 
it from there. IMHO, that's the easiest solution, until someone has 
Kerberos and samba working together and handing out MS-style PACs.
