I know it may not be of use to you, but -
I lose my connection on a daily basis - fixed ip, but it seems to be the
lan card itself - it's a 3com, and this is an NT machine, but it may be
worth checking.

and anything that I say may not be as
accurate as a response from one of the
team. I reply to save those more
qualified time, which can more usefully
be spent developing SAMBA further.
