samba - Jun 2002 - Help on configuring the samba

Hello
One of our customer is running
IRIX 6.5.14
Samba 2.2.1
SGI 3200 with 4 CPU

We get continuous error messages on log file
kernel oplock not supported
Where as as per Irix document this feature is supported from Irix 6.5.2
version

Can you please help in enabling this feature ?
Will upgrading the samba 2.2.2 will help me in this

err, 6.5.2 seems to be newer than 6.5.14 you're running, so I guess
kernel oplock support will not work if you upgrade samba version.

Kernel oplocks are only supported in the "feature stream" of IRIX.
You need to be running 6.5.14f not 6.5.14m (run uname -R).
