samba - May 2002 - Sun finally ships Samba as standard on Solaris 9

Well you won't find them shouting about it, but if you dig down
in their web pages on Solaris 9 you'll find this :

"Common Linux applications, such as Samba, Apache, Linux (GNU) commands,
etc., are included in the Solaris 9 Operating Environment. The Solaris
Software Companion CD has an even more comprehensive set of free software."

So I guess that means we made it onto the OS CD (finally :-) :-).

Samba is shipped with their Sun Cobalt Qube product as standard.  I have
been using the Qube 3 products for about 8 months with the Samba product and
have had very little problems.

Does anyone know yet which Samba version Sun are using for this?
