Anyone knows how to keep coherent timestamps on files put on a Samba share? We are experiencing strange results if trying to do that. We would like to be sure that the timestamp of the files put on that share matches exactly the time of the file under NT4 or the time the file was put there. For the moment, it is not the case (although from time to time they seem to match). -------------- next part -------------- HTML attachment scrubbed and removed

Yup, Samba does that: have a look at oreilly.com/catalog/samba/chapter/book/ch08_01.html#ch08-56646 for a hint (the book's also in docs/html, too) --dave [Ps: you accidently send that mail in html, which is unkind to the list] -- David Collier-Brown, | Always do right.
