While reading various docs on Samba, there are notes that Samba can sync with other Samba WINS servers, but can not sync with a MS WINS server. I have no idea how easy or hard this would be. Peter

Samba HEAD should be able to sync with MS, but I'm not sure how mature that code is at the moment.
