Rails - Jul 2006 - SSI and CGI output

I need to invoke a script in my cgi-bin with a ssi include.
Is there a way to do this in rails?
I found a post that I have to add an OutputFilter for dispatch.fcgi to 
go through mod_ssi.
Can anybody tell how to do this?
