Rails - Jan 2006 - file_column content-type, filesize, etc.?

Newbie question here:

How can I extend the (awesome!) file_column plugin to provide methods for
content_type, filesize, and original file name?  I know I should be able to do
this, but I can''t quite figure it out.  Please help.
