Rails - Dec 2005 - MySql using Pipe connection in Win2K?

I already have a MySql set up to use a named pipe on my win2k system 
(from my.ini: [client] pipe socket=mysql), but i can''t figure out how
to
set up the database.yml to use it.
Is it possible?
