I have my routes setup as the following, map.connect '''', :controller => ''frontend/content'' map.connect ''backend/'', :controller => ''backend/content'', :action => ''list'' map.connect '':controller/:action/:id'' map.connect ''*contents_path'', :controller => ''frontend/content'', :action => ''index'' I then have the following in my public/ /backend/javascripts/fckeditor/ If I type in my website''s address with that directory and the javascript file I want : http://foo.com/backend/javascripts/fckeditor/fckeditor.js it displays. However when I use a <script> to include that file Rails picks it up and tries to route to the frontend/content controller. I tried using a hardpath : http://foo.com/backend/javascripts/fckeditor/ in the <script> but end up with the same thing. I don''t get why it would be fine if you load the location in your web browser but get all confused when trying to include it in a view. Oh, and if it helps, frontend and backend are Modules. Any thoughts and ideas please write. Thanks, Paul
