In between coding binges I''ve been trying to assemble some Rails paraphernalia for the RubyStuff on-line store. http://www.rubystuff.com I''ve copied the Rails logo png from the main Rails site and tried cleaning it up for high-resolution printing, but the results are underwhelming. Are there original source graphics available for the Rails logo? Or does someone have a good, cleaned up hi-rez version? (I''m aiming for 10 inches square, 200 dots per inch). At one time, when an early version of the logo was previewed, David Heinemeier Hansson "open sourced" the graphics for general downloading, but those files have apparently been taken down. RubyStuff is a collection of CafePress shops selling assorted Ruby goodies. There is an average $2.00 markup on items, which is used to pay for ruby-doc.org and rubyxml.com Thanks, James Britt -- http://www.ruby-doc.org - The Ruby Documentation Site http://www.rubyxml.com - News, Articles, and Listings for Ruby & XML http://www.rubystuff.com - The Ruby Store for Ruby Stuff http://www.jamesbritt.com - Playing with Better Toys

I wanted to checkout the logo structure, and I cooked up a simplified 2-color version that would be suitable for spot or screen printing. The file is (for the time being) available at: http://www.commontext.com/files/rails_logo_2_color.ai -Jeff Scott Barron wrote:> > On Jul 14, 2005, at 1:53 PM, James Britt wrote: > >> In between coding binges I''ve been trying to assemble some Rails >> paraphernalia for the RubyStuff on-line store. >> >> http://www.rubystuff.com >> >> I''ve copied the Rails logo png from the main Rails site and tried >> cleaning it up for high-resolution printing, but the results are >> underwhelming. >> >> Are there original source graphics available for the Rails logo? He is the author of the logo. -- Julian "Julik" Tarkhanov
