Heya, The script.aculo.us SVN repositiory now holds the 1.6 beta. This version is mostly a refactoring/bugfix release, and marks the switch over to Prototype 1.5 (Prototype 1.4.0 is no longer supported). The required prototype.js file is included (lib/prototype.js) of course. Changes since 1.5.3: * Prepare for script.aculo.us 1.6, add Prototype 1.5 requirement and check that Element. Methods is available in the scriptaculous loader * Refactor effects.js to use the new Prototype 1.5 Element Methods syntax * Update to latest Prototype 1.5.0_pre0 trunk * Add passing through of scroll options from Sortable to Draggable [thx Gregory Hill] * Make it possible to scroll window on dragging, #3921 [thx rdmiller] * added visualEffect method for the Element Mixin, fixed so you can chain multiple calls. [Rick Olson] * Fix only option on Sortable.create to accept multiple class names, fixes #3427 [thx glenn nilsson] * Added workaround for a rendering bug in Safari when using floating elements with Effect.Appear Please test! :) -Thomas

Are you just grabbing the latest version from SVN and calling it 1.5.0? Thomas, I appreciate your ANNs to rails-spinoffs; it''s nice to know where script.aculo.us is headed. I like that you engage other developers in discussions when they arise on the list. Thank you. I just wish Sam did the same. Todd
Prototype''s version was bumped to 1.5.0_pre0 on January 18, see http://dev.rubyonrails.org/changeset/3434 (There is no "official" stable release yet, but it works fine here, thus the call to give the latest script.aculo.us trunk a test) -Thomas Am 26.03.2006 um 14:49 schrieb Todd Ross:> On 3/26/06, Thomas Fuchs <t.fuchs-moWQItti3gBl57MIdRCFDg@public.gmane.org> wrote: >> This version is mostly a refactoring/bugfix release, and marks the >> switch over to >> Prototype 1.5 (Prototype 1.4.0 is no longer supported).
