[cfe-dev] Proposal: pull benchmark library to the LLVM main repository
I'm happy to have this in the main LLVM repositiory. The version in the test suite should likely stay there because the test suite should be buildable w/o LLVM itself -- it is largely a distinct thing. We re-use lit, but not much else from LLVM, and we wouldn't want to install the benchmark library the way we do lit. One interesting point: we...

script.aculo.us 1.6 beta
Heya, The script.aculo.us SVN repositiory now holds the 1.6 beta. This version is mostly a refactoring/bugfix release, and marks the switch over to Prototype 1.5 (Prototype 1.4.0 is no longer supported). The required prototype.js file is included (lib/prototype.js) of course. Changes since 1.5.3: * Prepare for script.aculo.us 1.6, a...

Wasn't sure I could do that with such a big jump. But it's worth a try. I always have my original as I'm

R on netbooks et al?
Dear useRs, With the rise of netbooks and 'lifestyle laptops" I am tempted to get one of these to mainly run R on it. Processor power and hard disk space seem to be ok. What I wonder is the handling and feel with respect to R. Has anyone here installed or is running R on one of these, and if so, what is your experience? Would it be more of a nice looking gadget than a feasable platform

Version control (git, mercurial) for R packages
Hi all, in particular package developers, I'm exploring using a version control system to keep better track of changes to the packages I maintain. I'm leaning towards git (although mercurial also looks good) but am not sure what is the best way to set up the repository. It seems I can't set the repository directly within the R package main directory, since it will be incompatible with

Proposal: pull benchmark library to the LLVM main repository
As a part of upcoming new Clangd symbol index implementation, we would like to start support benchmarks of different Clangd pieces, such as index queries and code completion. There are already two projects in the LLVM tree using google/benchmark library while keeping its source code in-tree: libcxx (libcxx/utils/google-benchmark) and test-suite (test-suite/MicroBenchmarks/libs/benchmark-1.3.0).

Offering an Asterisk Documentation and FAQ Portal
Hi, I have resources available to host a portal specifically for the Asterisk system, to help correlate documentation, FAQ's and How To I am new to Asterisk, and my hardest work is in locating information on using or configuring the software. Would Mark, John or any of you feel this would be of benefit to host? I am offering a PHP-NUKE portal for this, (Unless you know of a better

R2.11.0 - rasterImage() and barplot fill-patterns
Hello Peter, Thank you, and the R core team, for the new release. I see that in R 2.11.0 there is now support for rendering of raster (bitmap) images through rasterImage(). I am wondering - can this be used to create a texture/fill-pattern for hist()/barplot() ? (A request made several times throughout the years on the mailing list. For example:

R 2.11.0 is released
I've rolled up R-2.11.0.tar.gz a short while ago. This is a development release which contains a number of new features. Also, a number of mostly minor bugs have been fixed. See the full list of changes below. NOTE: The build platform has been changed for this release. Please watch out extra carefully for anomalies. You can get it from http://cran.r-project.org/src/base/R-2/R-2.11.0.tar.gz
