Hi list, So, some hard work today, but the Wiki is quickly taking shape. I''ve now moved all the documentation I could find into it. The URL again: http://wiki.script.aculo.us/ There are also some new features in there, like: FAQ: http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/FAQ Wishlist (moved from Rails wiki): http://wiki.script.aculo.us/ scriptaculous/show/TheWishlist And the beginnings of the documentation for all the nice new things coming in script.aculo.us 1.5: http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/InPlaceEditing http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/UnitTesting http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/GhostlySortableDemo Documentation for the Prototype JavaScript framework should also be added to it, and there is a skeleton page at http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/Prototype with an "should-look-like-this" example at http:// wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/DollarFunction Hope we get this going, please help where you can! :) Thomas

Like a broker, so one can see what needs documentation. Bye, Martin PS: Currently, I get a 502 error for the wiki.

If you have wished yourself, just mark the corresponding pages with Category: Stub. I''ve also created a DocumentationWishes page for addtional stuff: http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/DocumentationWishes :) Thomas
Hi, the Wiki needs a preview on edit, really. Any way to add this? Bye, Martin
Instiki doesn''t seem to have this. Maybe create a ticket at http:// dev.instiki.org Thomas Am 07.08.2005 um 15:29 schrieb Martin Bialasinski:> Hi, > > the Wiki needs a preview on edit, really. Any way to add this? > > Bye, > Martin >

Ironically, they use Trac, which has a Wiki with preview and a MUCH better diff view. Bye, Martin
Hehe. Maybe we could add nice JavaScript diffing to script.aculo.us or Prototype, see http://ejohn.org/projects/javascript-diff-algorithm/ :)> I just did. Ironically, they use Trac, which has a Wiki with preview > and a MUCH better diff view. > > Bye, > Martin >

As a quick relief, can you hack the wiki to mark additions with green background and deletions with red background? The underline/strike-through stuff is too hard to notice. Bye, Martin
will do.> Nice. Very nice. As a quick relief, can you hack the wiki to mark > additions with green background and deletions with red background? The > underline/strike-through stuff is too hard to notice. > > Bye, > Martin >
done. reloading should get you the CSS update. :) Thomas Am 08.08.2005 um 14:07 schrieb Thomas Fuchs:> will do. > > >> Nice. Very nice. See the changes in http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/revision/InlineElements?rev=2 (not marked with colors) And the changes in http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/revision/InlineElements?rev=3 (a bit of color, but not all things marked; diff display generally fucked up). Currently, my opinion on Instiki is not that high... :-( Bye, Martin
