R help - Mar 2013 - update.packages(checkBuilt = TRUE) fails in updating rpanel_1.1-1 due to missing package BWidget

Installed is tcl-8.6.0-r1 and tk-8.6.0 in a GENTOO environment.

I encountered the same problem.  I emailed the maintainer last week but 
have not yet received a response.

I don't see a BWidget package on CRAN either.
