If you want to receive all the e-mails, but don't want your e-mail program to pop up a message every time an e-mail from r-help comes in then you can configure your e-mail client to automatically move all the e-mails from r-help to a specific folder/label/etc. and that should make it so you can look at the e-mails from r-help when you want to, but will not be notified all the time. Exactly how to do this depends on what e-mail client you are using (I have done this for MS Outlook and my gmail account, it should be fairly simple for most other e-mail programs as well).
