[R] calculate correlation effect size using contrast analysis for an omnibus Chi-square test statistic
I am looking for an R package with which one can calculate an effect size for a set of contrasts given an omnibus chi-square test statistic (more than 1 degree of freedom). Is there such a package? Presumably, it would implement the procedure (or something like it) described by Roznow and Rosenthal 1996 Psychological Methods 1: 331-340. many thanks! I have never used it but it does have a function chies which appears promising.>many thanks! > > >Steven Orzack >Fresh Pond Research Institute >173 Harvey Street >Cambridge, MA 02140 >617 864-4307 >www.freshpond.org > > > [[alternative HTML version deleted]]Michael Dewey info at aghmed.fsnet.co.uk http://www.aghmed.fsnet.co.uk/home.html
