Dear R users-- I made a typo in the title after adding it to a plot, but I don't know how to delete the title. Could anyone let me know the command for that? Also, I wonder if there is any way to amend the title which already exists. Thanks, Jason [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

R's ink is pretty much indelible. Mind you that has not stopped me from trying with title( ..., col="white"), but the results are not perfect weven if you make cex a bit higher than the original. -- David Winsemius, MD West Hartford, CT

In many cases it is not possible at all. In most cases the best strategy is to change the code that produced the plot, and just run it all again. Duncan Murdoch
