R help - Jul 2011 - Installation of rblas package (R interface to the BLAS and LAPACK)

Hi,

I am trying to install the package rblas which is an R interface to the BLAS
and LAPACK libraries. I have downloaded the rblas.tar from

First of all, let me admit that I have never installed packages in R from a
local file.

My query is how can I install this package in my R?
