R help - May 2007 - (no subject)

Hi friends, 

does anyone know how we can 'control' R from Visual Studio .NET? e.g.
start R, send a set of commands, save the results and open the results using
Visual Studio.

I'm not too familiar with Visual Studio .NET, but on Windows one can use
R as a (D)COM Server Application, the use of which could pretty much
correspond to the description you gave.
