extracting residual variance from glmmPQL
...ould be welcome !
A separate issue: I have no idea how I should run my simulation in case
I need to set family to quasibinomial, instead of binomial... And this
is something I might consider in a next future.
Thanks in advance for your help,

Subscript in axis label
Dear R help list members,
I am experiencing difficulty in trying to generate a subscript '2' in an

R then forces me to leave at least one space between the '2' and the
following character. My label is supposed to read 'N2O concentration

Sorry about second post about that, but we need language sensitive menu
links on wiki.centos.org. For example, if users pick any language and wants
to see HowTo section, they need open "Learn" section and find there "HowTo"
section, or add language code into every link from menu bar. We should
solve this. Can someone help?

So the PHP script would stop icecast from running (by not returning
`icecast-auth-user: 1'), but that doesn't work. I have ensured that the
script works fine, by making it log access.

svd and eigen
Hello List,
i need help for eigen and svd functions. I have a non-symmetric
square matrix. These matrix is not positive (some eigenvalues are
negative). I want to diagonalise these matrix. So, I use svd and
eigen and i compare the results. eigen give me the "good" eigenvalues
(positive and negative). I compare with another software and the
results are the same. BUT, when i use svd,

choose to do a glm with family=quasibinomial(). I'm not an expert on
this subject and i ask if someone could validate my approach (i'm not
sure for the tests) :

KS for goodness of fit
Dear All,
I have two distributions which I don't their nature. I want to check whether they come from the same distribution. I know that I can use KS test however the standart function ks.test applies only the ks test for testing the difference of two samples (non-parametric). By the way the distribution are of Euclidean distances. One of observed and the other of shuffled data.
Thanks,
Ron
