[R] Is there a function in R to evaluate the adjusted AIC or other statistc where overdispersion existed in GLMs?
Dear friends, As we all know, the usual model selection criteria(e.g.deviance,AIC...) in GLMs isn't very good for selecting the best model when overdispersion exist, so we need to adjust the corresponding statistic,see(Fitzmaurice,G.M. (1997) Model selection with overdispersed data<file:///D:/²©Ê¿¿ÎÌâ/Prediction%20model%20of%20Snails/1997/Model%20Selection%20with%20Overdispersed%20Data.pdf>, The Statistician,46(1):81-91.). Is there a function in R to evaluate the adjusted AIC or other statistc where overdispersion existed in GLMs? How should i do in that case? Thanks in advance. -- With Kind Regards, oooO::::::::: (..)::::::::: :\.(:::Oooo:: ::\_)::(..):: :::::::)./::: ::::::(_/:::: ::::::::::::: [***********************************************************************] Zhi Jie,Zhang ,PHD Tel:86-21-54237149 epistat@gmail.com Dept. of Epidemiology, school of public health,Fudan University Address:No. 138 Yi Xue Yuan Road,Shanghai,China Postcode:200032 [***********************************************************************] oooO::::::::: (..)::::::::: :\.(:::Oooo:: ::\_)::(..):: :::::::)./::: ::::::(_/:::: ::::::::::::: [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
