[R] changing dir to network drive in Rgui caused crash (1.7.0)
Dear R-help, Has anyone experienced similar problem? On WinNT4(sp6), running Rgui from 1.7.0, when try to change directory to some network drive using the "File / Change dir..." menu, Rgui gets a visit by Dr. Watson. If I first change dir to a local drive, then again to a network drive, it works fine. It also works fine with setwd() from the command prompt. Best, Andy Andy I. Are you using a mapped network drive (ie. 'M:') or a non-mapped target path? Regards, Marc Schwartz
