1. Load the first workspace image (e.g., start up R in the directory where that image is located). 2. Do save(myobject, file="myobject.rda") 3. At this point, you have two choices: a) Quit R and re-start in the directory where the 2nd workspace is located, or b) clear everything in the workspace in memory by, e.g., rm(list=ls()), then setwd("where/the/second/workspace/image/lives") and load(".RData"). The first is probably safer. 4. Do load("/path/to/the/first/workspace/myobject.rda"). 5. Do save.image(). Well, you get the idea... Check the help pages for these functions.
