R help - Feb 2002 - Bounced mail to CRAN

Sorry to bother the help list with this, but I've sent two messages to:

cran at r-project.org

to notify about an upload and both have bounced due to:

<cran at r-project.org>: Mail Server is down or unreachable.

Why should *that* be reachable?

The R FAQ (and other places) contains

 FAQ>      To "submit" to CRAN, simply upload to
 FAQ>   `ftp://cran.r-project.org/incoming/' and send an email to
 FAQ>   <wwwadmin at cran.r-project.org>.

which is quite a different address.
