Soon it will have the fast backward stepdown method
I put in SAS in 1978 which I believe is in PROC
LOGISTIC today. This will be in the Design library's
fastbw function, which works with many models, is
very fast, approximate but surprisingly accurate.
It is based on approximate Wald statistics.
Do note all the usual warnings about all stepwise methods.
They have incredible risks.
