R help - Mar 2000 - installation problems on Windows (was Problems with some components of R)

Well, I am sure it does not say precisely that!  The only times we have
seen a similar report, removing everything and re-installing worked.
If you do that and still have problems, use bug.report to send a 
a report with the exact error messages, please.

You may want to wait for tomorrow and rw1000 before trying again.

Right, that is the source code, and has no rw0990 file at all.  You need
to build that from scratch: the instructions are in src/gnuwin32/INSTALL.
