I'm also having some trouble with R on NT (I'm using NT 4.0 SP3).
The rsept.exe from rseptbeta.zip, which presents itself as "Version 0.50
Beta (Sept 29, 1997)", although the file time stamp indicates Oct 2, 1997,
15:08 - and file size is 918 528, by the way, runs OK, from command line,
Windows Explorer or from shortcut, except for the memory problem you
mentioned - either with the menu or with DOS command Rsept -v n. In fact,
menu dialogue is not closed either by OK or cancel button, the only way to
close it is the Windows close window command button.
However, the rsept.exe from exe.zip, which is newer, starts for a very
short instant (the time to see the screen flashing), and then silently dies.
I don't get any error messages.
