R help - Jan 1998 - R-beta: help with an error message .Internal call??

[This message first bounced to me as list manager,
	 because it has a 'help' in the subject ... please try to use 
	 different keywords in 'Subject'	-- Martin Maechler]

Hi,
 again messing with Hmisc I came across an error in summary.formula
function. It fails on the line : eval(X, sys.frame(sys.parent())).

....
Browse[1]> X
model.frame(formula = iris$Sepal.Width ~ iris$Sepal.Length, data = iris, 
        na.action = function (mf) 
        mf)
Browse[1]> sys.frame(sys.parent())
<environment: R_GlobalEnv>
Browse[1]>X <-  eval(X, sys.frame(sys.parent()))
Error: 2 arguments passed to ".Internal" which requires 1.
Browse[1]> 

???
Any ideas ?
