Sorry if my reply to Jens Oehlschlaegel <oehl at Psyres-Stuttgart.DE> came "out of the blue" for this list. His original message was about both R and S and he sent a copies to the S-news list and to R at stat.auckland.ac.nz. Since my reply capability for messages coming over S-news is screwed up (local listserv configuration problem) I have to add addresses by hand to my replies. I added r-help instead of just adding the R address. I imagine most subscribers to this list also see S-news anyway but in case you don't. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !) The big difference between S-news and R-help : I get R-help messages within 1-2 minutes, whereas I have to wait between 6 and 10 HOURS(!) for S-news messages to arrive here.... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
